Meagan Goodmight’ve caught baby fever, roomies! The ‘Harlem’ star recently spilled all the tea, gushing about her plans to start a family with her new husband, Jonathan Majors. After tying the knot earlier this year, Meagans ready to take on motherhood next. Find out how many children she plans to have below.
Meagan is ready to step into her mommy era! The 43-year-old actress opened up to Us Weekly on Wednesday, July 16, revealing that shes “definitely” ready to have kids. “And then, my partner [is] someone I want to really do it with, and get excited about doing it with, and who is a phenomenal father already, but now we can do it together,” she shared.
When asked how many little ones shes envisioning, the California native kept it cute, saying, “Two would be good.” With four dogs already running the house, she joked, “The house is very safe.” Meagan also revealed that her role as Camille on ‘Harlem’ flipped a switch in her.
“It definitely made me excited to go, ‘OK, now that Ive explored and unpacked so much through my character in more ways than one, now I get to go, ‘Yeah, I think this actually makes me super ready,'” she said.
And with married life being “pretty amazing,” Meagans ready to build her dream family with Jonathan.
Meagan and Jonathans love story reached a whole new level when they said I do on March 18, in an intimate backyard ceremony at their Los Angeles home. The Magazine Dreams star confirmed the nuptials on Sherri, getting emotional as he shared:
“I said to Meagan yesterday, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life.’ I love that woman so much.”
Jonathans mother, a pastor, officiated the ceremony, with Meagans mom as a witness. The couple exchanged rings engraved in Hawaii, making the moment extra special. Meagan later told PEOPLE, Its me and him against the world, emphasizing their deep connection.
The couple first revealed their engagement in November 2024 at the EBONY Power 100 Gala. However, they had been inseparable since sparking romance rumors in May 2023. Meagan stood by Jonathan through his legal battles involving ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, even attending court sessions. Now, theyre basking in newlywed bliss and dreaming of their future family together!
That said, if you didn’t know, Jonathan doesnt play when it comes to his queen! A viral video taken earlier this month had the internet buzzing when the actor had to check a man who boldly asked for Meagans number right in front of him. The awkward moment occurred while Meagan was posing for photos with fans. In the clip, Jonathan kept it calm but firm, letting the individual know that his lady is off the market.
