Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors are trending on social media after they recently announced a MAJOR update on their relationship.
According to E! News, on Sunday, November 17, Good and Majors popped out at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, California. While walking the red carpet, attendees couldn’t help but notice the sparkle coming from Good’s left hand.
Furthermore, when the actor made a stop on the carpet to pose for pictures, she eagerly held her wrist up, revealing the diamond rock on her ring finger. Additionally, Good pulled Majors in close as they posed for photographers together.

Per the outlet, Good and Majors decided to reveal their engagement at EBONY’s event because the gala was where they first crossed paths.
“EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms… in the unisex bathroom,” Good reportedly explained to E! News.
Furthermore, while speaking with PEOPLE, they revealed that they are “feeling great” and in a “season of joy.”
Nonetheless, social media users reacted to the pair’s major step forward in their romance in The Shade Room’s comment section.
While Instagram user @op.hair added, “My gut feeling is never calm when it comes to him. Hopefully Im wrong.”
According to Page Six, when Good and Majors first crossed paths in the EBONY restroom, it was 2022, and he was reportedly dating Grace Jabbari. As The Shade Room previously reported, Jabbari and Major would make headlines in March 2023 after she accused him of domestic assault.
Then, in May of that year, reports surfaced alleging Majors and Good had begun dating, per The Shade Room. Furthermore, speculation would be confirmed later that month when photos surfaced of the pair.
Ultimately, Jabbari’s domestic allegations against Majors resulted in a trial where he was found guilty of assault and harassment in December 2023, per The Shade Room. Despite this, in March of the following year, the couple revealed that their romance was staying strong.
In April, Majors was sentenced to probation and counseling after being found guilty, per The Shade Room.
In July, Good briefly reflected on how she and Majors met, saying that she felt “instant chemistry” between them, per The Shade Room.
“And then we re-met again, about four months later,” she told PEOPLE. “And I was like, ‘This is gonna happen, this is gonna happen.’ And it did.”
Most recently, Good’s representative shut down rumors that she and Majors split while teasing their appearance at the EBONY Gala. As of yet, Majors’ ex, Grace Jabbari, and Good’s ex-husband, DeVon Franklin, have not publicly reacted to their engagement.
