Meek Mill Deletes Social Media Accounts After Receiving Backlash For Saying He Would Offer Philly Artists Record Deals If They Stopped The Violence

Monday was a rather interesting day for Philly rapper Meek Mill. So much to the point that he decided to take a break away from social media.

Meek tweeted, “I’ll get all the main big artist in philly a deal[,] if they put them bodies behind them beefs…I hear about…got some young bulls from my city but they all beefing.”

Soon after that tweet, a local rapper Poundside Pop called Meek out for a previous tweet he wrote, in which he stated that “everybody gone have to pick a side.” The local rapper replied, “It’s time for you to pick a side.” Pooundside Pop wrote, “IS YOU ZOO OR NOT N***A????”

After a few exchanges, it was obvious that Meek’s tweet wasn’t well received from the local rappers in the area. Even Akademiks chimed in and brought up their most recent beef from this past summer, “I remember Meek Mill banned me from the Trenches…now I’m hearing the TRENCHES banned Meek Mill…”

In his last social media post, before he deactivated his accounts, Meek Mill took to Instagram and posted a bag full of money and captioned it, “Ard y’all ima holla at y’all later…”

A few minutes after that last post, it was clear that he deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Meek  loves to tweet and like posts on Instagram. I’m sure he’ll be back soon.
