Meek Mill Denies Claims As Social Media Speculates If He’s The “Philadelphia Rapper” Reportedly Listed In New Lawsuit Against Diddy

Meek Mill got on Twitter (now X) early Wednesday (Feb. 28) afternoon. The ‘Dreams And Nightmares’ rapper seemed to deny any involvement in a recent lawsuit filed against Diddy by a former male employee.

Context: The Lawsuit Against Diddy That Meek Mill Is Posting About

As reported earlier this week, Rodney Jones, also known as “Lil Rod,” accused Combs of sexual assault and harassment in a new $30 million lawsuit. Jones claims that both Diddy and his “associates” subjected him to “unwanted advances” on more than one occasion. Jones is suing Diddy, his son Justin Combs and “other employees as well as various record execs.” Attorneys for Diddy and Justin Combs have reacted to the lawsuit, denying the allegations and labeling Jones a liar.

The 73-page lawsuit name-drops several celebrities, including Stevie J and Diddy’s on-and-off-again bae, Yung Miami. Stevie has already called any allegations listed “false” in a statement to TMZ.

While Meek wasn’t named at all in the docs, he is currently trending on social platforms. Folks are speculating if he’s the “Philadelphia rapper” mentioned in the lawsuit’s summary on page eight.

Summary item i. reads, “Rapper (3) (REDACTED) on Mr. Combs yacht consorting with underaged girls, sex workers, and…”Meanwhile, the footnote (3) states the rapper “is a Philadelphia Rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.”

Note that Meek Mill is a rapper from Philly who is publicly known to have dated Nicki Minaj between 2015 and 2017, per Essence.

Line No. 71 on page 13 of the doc alleges that “Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones that he had engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper (5) (REDACTED), R&B singer (6) (REDACTED), and Stevie J.”

Footnote (5) again reads, “He is aPhiladelphia Rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.”

Meek Seemingly Denies He Is The “Philadelphia Rapper”

As mentioned, Meek denies the internet speculating his connection to the lawsuit despite him not being explicitly named. On Feb. 28, he posted a link to the court document on his X account after asking his followers to point him to the “actual lawsuit” in a separate post. His tweet read:

“Heres the doc lets go on trail live playing with my name find the page where my name mentioned and what date so I can get my credit card and show you the date where I was I dont even know that p***y .. but lets go to trail on here,” he wrote in the caption of the linked document.

In several X posts, Meek Mill suggested he’s being connected to the Diddy lawsuit because he’s dropping an independent album tomorrow.

“This why they dropping hate campaigns. Ima drop ever 2 weeks on they ask and use my voice over this internet glitching sh*t! I own this round of music also them corny a*s internet campaign not strong enough to stop this haaa.”

In another X post, Meek added that he was “having a nice sleep chilling in the mansion” before waking up to “weirdo stuff.”

Other X posts show Meek describing how he moves in public. He denies ever engaging in any “gay activity.”

“Im from Philly I dont do c*ke or freaky a** m*lly nobody wont even offer me c*ke because Im that heavy . No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place dont get flipped woke up seeing this on every blog like they know Im coming! lol”
In another X post, he wrote: “Thats why I always come around all these industry n****s with my real friends. You never catch me around anybody from the industry alone..you cant even hold a convo without my dawgs stepping in the room its been that way I cant til yall find out Im the illest in this sh*t lol.”
Meek added that he would pop off on any celebrity who tried to “move wild” with him, seemingly referencing the speculation.
“I would trash any celebrity if they tried wild move on me. No picks literally go crazy on them that is all! Im from Philly n****a! All my n.#%gas always watch me around this wild a*s industry!”
Meek Mill suggested that publicly questioning a man’s sexuality is a common way to hold the hip-hop community back.
“The 2 things they say we snitching or we gay .we generating 100s of millions from music its not a coincidence we all gay and snitches . They are powering this stuff even if its fake! The goal is to disrupt the hip hop community. I own this music that drop tomar play it!!!!!”
