Megan Thee Stallion has been on hiatus, but the hottie is back and taking ownership!
Naming her new single, Thot S*h*t, Megan explained the reasoning behind the name.
A fan asked, What inspired you to make thot s*h*t? Replying that shes taking ownership of the word, she stated, Im really just talking s*h*t and taking ownership of the words thot and h*e bc theyre not the drag men think it is when trying to come at women for doing them.
Joining in on the conversation, a few people had their opinions about what Megan said. Someone stated, Hurt men used to use em to gain control mentally but we dont care anymore basically.
Another person said, Its giving Amber Rose but we still stan.
A few people who didnt quite agree stated, What is with this generation and reclaiming things that are demeaning and ‘reclaiming them?‘”
Another commenter wrote, No ownership here…return to sender.
While Megan is preparing to release new music, she is also preparing to change the lives of students.
According to Yahoo, the Hot-Girl head coach will be providing a full 4-year-scholarship to one lucky student who will be attending Roc Nations School of Music, Sports, and Entertainment at Long Island Universitys Brooklyn campus.
As we previously reported, the school is scheduled to open up this fall and will be offering undergraduate degrees in music, music technology, sports management, and entrepreneurship and production, and sports management.
Megan spoke about the scholarship opportunity and said, Getting an education is incredibly important to me. I still have academic goals that I want to achieve, so if I can use my resources to open doors and create opportunities for at least one student, then its a victory. Its important that we encourage our students to pursue their passions and put them in positions to become the next game-changer in whichever fields they choose.
Megan will also get the chance to speak with students as she‘s said to be speaking during the ‘Industry Expert Speaker Series,‘ and will offer some advice about the industry.
OK, H-Town Hottie!
