Y’all! Megan Thee Stallion just added a new title to her rsum. And, lets just say the Hot Girl lifestyle is officially seasoned and fried. The Houston rapper popped out in Miami for a major moment that had fans buzzing, phones out, and chicken on the brain. While it looked like a celebration, it quickly became clear Megan was stepping into a whole new laneone that goes beyond the booth.
On New Years Eve, the Grammy-winning superstar celebrated the grand opening of her very first Popeyes franchise in South Beach. This marks a full-circle moment for her viral Hottie Sauce, which first dropped in 2021 and broke the internet (mukbang included). After teasing the location on TikTok earlier last year and reminding fans that she wears “many hats, Megan officially planted her flag in one of Miamis hottest neighborhoods. And, this time, Meg’s a franchise owner, not just the face of a collab. This move appears to signal a deeper commitment to ownership, entrepreneurship, and building real equity.
But, what really had folks talking wasnt just the chickenit was how Megan showed up as a boss. On opening day, the rapper made it clear she wanted to know every single employees name, despite a store manager telling her it wasnt necessary. Megan quickly shut that down with a firm but playful, Oh, yes, I do, before going down the line greeting everyone with excitement. From Samir? Love the name, to Rick? Heyyy!the moment had Hot Girl CEO energy written all over it and showed she wasnt there to play about her people.
True to form, the grand opening felt like a party and a workday all in one. Megan greeted fans, hyped her staff, stepped behind the counter, and joked about popping in regularly to see how things were running. She later announced her franchise-owner status and invited Miami locals to pull up. At the end of the day, this wasnt just about fried chickenit was about Megan Thee Stallion owning her sauce, knowing her staff by name, and proving that Hot Girls dont just eat the chicken they own the building too.
The Hotties wasted no time and ran straight to TSRs Instagram comment section to show love. Many crowned Meg a true queen for making it a point to know every employees name. Meanwhile, others demanded folks put some respect on her name and her franchise-owner status. And of course, plenty of fans skipped the debate altogether and said they were already ready to place an order.
