Last week, was Power Book II actor, Michael Rainey Jr’s 22nd birthday, but the only ones who were surprised were his fans.
In the past, Rainey has been rumored to have dated a few of the cast members of his recent TV series, like Paige “Lauren” Hurd and Alix “Effie” Lapri, neither of these relationships were ever confirmed.
But, the only public relationship we know of prior to this one was his relationship with model, Eva Apio. Back in May 2019, the two confirmed their dating status on Instagram with the caption “my lil one”.
The break up was private followed by a series of deleted posts from both sides.
But the fans never gave up hope of one day being Mrs. Rainey. That was until last week when his current boo, Haile Rose, posted a birthday dedication to him with the caption “city girls down 1000”, and shocked everyone. Some even threaten to cancel their Starz subscription especially when he commented under the post saying,

Others went to TikTok to express their sadness about the news.
Fans even peeped, after the fact, that she was seen in a TikTok video with him from August of this year stating,
IT WAS HER IN THE VIDEO BYE
Needless to say, the gworlz are sick about it.
Haile Rose, whose TikTok has been removed following the announcement of their relationship, is a social media influencer with over 76K followers on Instagram.
It is unclear how long the couple has been dating, but it seems like after the outcry of disappointment from fans, they may continue to keep their relationship on the DL moving forward.
