The fundraiser noted that she had been in the ICU, in critical but stable condition, surrounded by family and medical staff. It also highlighted the emotional and financial strain on her loved ones due to mounting hospital and ongoing care costs, showing just how sudden and serious her health crisis had become. Her passing has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans and former castmates, many remembering her for her infectious personality and fearless gameplay that made her a standout in the ‘Big Brother’ house.

Hollis had previously responded to Lees comments by sharing videos of her parents, which some saw as mocking, but now says she reached out weeks ago to try to bury the hatchet, emphasizing she cared about Mickey and didnt want the shows two Black women to be pitted against each other.
Hollis faced some backlash for posting the text publicly, with critics claiming she was trying to look better after Lees passing. She eventually deleted the post but explained on X that she only shared it after receiving pushback for her earlier tribute to Mickey, highlighting the complicated mix of grief, reconciliation, and public scrutiny surrounding the situation.
