After seasons of messiness, lawsuits, and Instagram shade that had the whole timeline talking, it looks like Momma Dee and Bambi are trying to lay down the swords. But dont get it twistedthis is no fairy tale ending. Not yet, anyway.
On the latest episode of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ Momma Dee pulled up with some realness and a peace offering as she met with Bambi to address their long-standing beef. If you forgot, things got so bad that Bambi hit her with a defamation lawsuit! But now, Momma Dee says shes ready to be done with the dramafor the sake of her grandbabies. However, Bambi questioned if the convo was “performative” or “genuine” as consistency is the real test in her eyes. And, knowing Momma Dee? That test might be graded on a curve.
Say less the comments said it all. As soon as the clip dropped, fans flooded the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Instagram comments. Folks were backing Bambi with side-eyes of their own many saying she had every right to be fed up. Meanwhile, some called out Momma Dee for being too grown to still be stirring drama. And, others showed love for the growth theyre finally seeing in the cast, proving that even reality TV has its mature moments (sometimes).
One Instagram user @__bubblzz_ said, “Apologize to The Bam for real. Mama D took no responsibility. The levels of disrespect were so real and deep thats why Bam still crying.“

The tension between Momma Dee and Bambi has been brewing for years, but another twist surfaced just when fans thought things might finally be cooling off. Back in August, it was revealed that Momma Dee went ahead and christened Bambi and Scrappys children without Bambis knowledge or consent. The move left viewers stunned and reignited long-standing tensions. It raised questions about boundaries, respect, and whether peace between the two women is even possible.
Earlier this year, their beef also hit a new level when Momma Dee publicly accused Bambi of trying to tear down Lil Scrappy as a father. As previously reported, Dee claimed Bambi had texted Scrappy, accusing him of coaching their kids to mock him about his finances and number of children a moment Dee insisted caught them both off guard. According to her, the kids comments clearly surprised Scrappy, and she didnt hold back, accusing Bambi of always trying to make her son look bad despite him, in her words, being a more hands-on parent. You got these women like my ex-daughter-in-law that will turn around and try to demean my son who has been a good father, she said.
