Whew chile, the drama! By now, its no secret that there is still bad blood between MoNique and Oprah Winfrey that dates back several years. In fact, MoNique has consistently been at Oprahs neck for how she treated her in the past and regularly vents her frustrations on social media. In her most recent post, she brought Toni Braxton into the mixand pointed out how terribly Oprah treated her in the past as well.
Oprah Winfrey has faced a lot of criticism in the last few years for allegedly exploiting the black community, specifically black male celebrities, by trying to publicly tarnish their images while staying silent on the misdeeds of white male celebrities. One person, who called her out long before these allegations is MoNiqueand she just served up some fresh receipts involving Oprah. Get ready for this next chapter in the Mo’Nique and Oprah feud.
You may recall way back in March of 1998, Toni Braxton was a guest on Oprahs previous daytime talk show where she discussed her highly-publicized bankruptcy issues. Posting a clip from Tonis Behind The Music episode where she explained how mean and nasty Oprah was to her during her appearance on the show, MoNique also added her two cents with a caption.
MoNique wrote the following message about the video:
IF YOU THINK@oprah ONLY DEMEANS BLACK MEN ITS BECAUSE THE BLACK WOMEN HAS BEEN MADE VIRTUALLY INVISIBLE!!! SEE FOR YOURSELF WITH OUR SISTER TONI B. IN CASE YOU FORGOT OR NEVER KNEW!!! LOVE US 2 LIFE!
Whew! As of right now, Toni hasnt responded to MoNiques commentsand we know Oprah certainly wont. We know one thing for sure, the beef between Mo’nique and Oprah isn’t ending any time soon. You know it’s only a matter of time before the next receipt is pulled.
