More Details Revealed On Child Rape Case Involving Nicki Minaj’s Brother!

Looks like more details are being spilled in the first degree rape case involving Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj! It was reported that he made his first public appearance today for his preliminary hearing along side his mother and attorney at the Nassau County Courthouse. Even though we hate to see this case get any messier, new info did just that and then some!

According to Bossip, Nicki’s brother is accused of raping a 12-year-old girl (who’s gender identity was first held because she is a minor) last on November 30th which is just one day before he was arrested! Not only that but it was also revealed that he has been abusing her for months.

“…From about April 1, 2015 until November 30, 2015, the defendant, Jelani Maraj, engaged in a course of sexual conduct against a child,” the lawsuit states. “He engaged in these acts with the victim, while knowing (she) was less than 13 years old.”

Unfortunately for Maraj’s wife, Jacqueline,  these allegations would also mean that the abuse took place before and after they both got married.

Also, Bossip revealed that court documents state that his mother, Carol, was the one who actually put up her Baldwin N.Y. home and two $50,000 promissory notes, even though TMZ had claimed it was Nicki who bailed her brother out. However, he listed “Pink Personality Inc.” (one of Nick’s companies) as his employers.

As of right now, the judge in the case has signed an order of protection which prohibits Maraj from stepping within 100 yards of the victim and he was also ordered to give up all weapons in his possession. It also seems like even though his mother, Carol, has been by his side she is definitely over the media spectacle it has caused.

“I’d like to kick their butts,” Mama Minaj said about reporters according to Bossip.

Jelani is also charged with felony sexual conduct against a child in the first degree and if convicted he can face up to 50 years in prison. His next court appearance is scheduled for next month. Lets chat below.
