Oop! Roomies, hol’ up! Morris Chestnut is really out here getting mistaken for Charlamagne Tha God.
In a recent episode of ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Morris Chestnut and Emayatzy Corinealdi appeared to discuss their show, ‘Reasonable Doubt.’ As the actors joined the morning crew, DJ Envy joked about the resemblance between Chestnut and Charlamagne. Envy even asked Morris if it bothers him that Charlamagne claims to look like him.
The conversation then prompted Chestnut to recall a moment when a valet actually confused him with Charlamagne Tha God.
I was at a hotel with the valet, and one of the valets said, Yo, youre Charlamagne. I dont know if he was trolling me, but it did happen, Chestnut said.
Charlamange has also joined the discussion about the constant comparisons and look-alike claims, frequently calling Morris Chestnut his twin on numerous occasions.
In an old clip obtained by TSR, Charlamagne shared a video from Morris’ TikTok about officially joining the app. The radio show co-host joked about being Morris by posting the same video and asking people to follow him there.
Chileee! The Roomies jumped right on Charlamagne for claiming he looks like Morris Chestnut in The Shade Room’s comment section. Plenty of social media users said they don’t look alike at all and that Charlamagne just wishes they did.
