Social media has been on fire ever since streamer N3on spoke out following Jess Hilarious‘ recent video! To recap, she refused to apologize for how she handled his interview on ‘The Breakfast Club.’ The comedian, alongside her co-host, faced backlash from N3on’s fans for bringing up his past. This included a string of racist remarks about Black people as recent as last year. In an exclusive video obtained by The Shade Room, the 20-year-old addressed his past comments and apologized. But the reactions? Whew, here’s what happened.
On Friday, July 25, The Shade Room obtained an exclusive video of N3on setting the record straight in an apology video, saying hes taking full accountability for his past. He said, “That is not the person that I am, and I want to apologize and take accountability and tell you that’s not okay.”
N3on continued by confessing that when he first started YouTube and streaming in his early teen years, his channel wasnt getting much attention. That was until he started popping off with wild comments about other people, particularly Black folks. He admitted to playing up the controversy just to rack up his views, even if it meant saying stuff he didnt really believe.
But N3on assured hes changed his ways now. N3on said looking back at those old clips got his stomach turning.
I’m looking at them, I’m like, ‘Wow.’ It makes my stomach hurt. How can I sit there and say those things. How can I have done those things? And, knowing that people see that. Knowing that my family sees that. These past 9 to 10 months, my entire content has changed.
He swears his content has changed for the past 9-10 months now, and hes hoping to leave the old drama behind. See his video below…
N3on’s video came shortly after Jess stood ten toes down. On Thursday, July 24, she took to Instagram to shut down the noise surrounding the viral interview with her guest. So, a lot of yall are still waiting for me to apologize to this motherf*****, and it aint going to happen, she declared in a voiceover, while backstage footage of N3on at the radio show played. Jess spilled all the tea, explaining how N3on reached out to Charlamagne Tha God for a platform to share a big announcement.
I dont like interviews, but Im trying to get better, so I did my research, Jess Hilarious said. What N3on thought would be a chill promo sesh turned into what some deemed an interrogation. Jess confronted him about his past clips, including one where he called a Black woman a monkey during a stream. The montage of his problematic moments kept rolling, showing N3ons history of controversial comments about Black people. Jess wasnt here for the excuses. When a clip showed N3on looking shook post-interview, it was clear he wasnt ready for the smoke. Jess stood firm, saying his little feelings were hurt.” But shes not losing sleep over it.
The Roomies were all the way fired up in the comments section of The Shade Rooms post, with many praising Jess for keeping the same energy. Heres what some of them had to say
