#Roommates, a week after pro-Trump rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol and broke into the offices of Congress members, Nancy Pelosis lectern (that was stolen by rioter Adam Johnson) has officially been returned. Despite Trump supporters breaking into Pelosis office and leaving threatening messages while rummaging through her personal belongingsher prized lectern was found after a swift investigation leading to Johnsons arrest.
@TMZ_TV reports Nancy Pelosis lectern is rightfully back at the U.S. Capitol where it belongs exactly one week after Florida resident Adam Johnson was seen in a viral photo carrying it out of the Capitol during the pro-Trump riots. House Speaker Pelosis lectern was wheeled into the Capitol building and surprisingly didnt sustain any damagehowever, there is currently no word on if her gavel was returned as well.
As we previously reported, Adam Johnson was arrested last week courtesy of a federal warrant in Florida for his role in the riots. Images of the 36-year-old were heavily circulated online during and after the riots.
Johnson is slated to appear later this month in D.C. to formally face additional charges, but his lawyer Dan Eckhart recently admitted to reporters that the case will be an uphill battle due to the photographic evidence.
