Roommates, NBA Youngboy is ALMOST a free man! Video has surfaced of Youngboy being released from parish prison Wednesday night, and he was welcomed home with ope arms.

In a livestream captured by WAFB9, Kentrell Gaulden was seen leaving the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, embraced by his mother and possibly his girlfriend.

As we previously reported, Youngboy was arrested back in May after a deadly shootout in Florida. The rapper and his entourage were leaving a beach resort when a shooter in a black Cadillac reportedly pulled up and opened fire. Authorities say his entourage returned fire, and his girlfriend at the time was struck by a bullet.

A man in the area nearby was killing in the crossfire when a bullet entered Gus vehicle across the street.

As part of a plea deal for his involvement in a previous shooting in 2016, NBA was sentenced for three years of probation and ordered to stay out of trouble. Unfortunately, the shooting with his entourage violated the terms of his probation.

The judge had given Youngboy a suspended 10-year prison term in August 2017. The judge decided not to revoke his probation, but did sentence him 90 days jail time in response to prosecutors claims that he violated multiple conditions of the arrangement.

Following being released, a judge has determined Youngboy will be placed on house arrest for 14 months and has been ordered to wear a GPS ankle monitor. He will not be allowed to perform during this time.

He is awaiting his hearing in August.
