NBA YoungBoy has been busy teasing new music and awaiting the arrival of his child with his wife, Jazlyn. Now, he findshimself facing renewed paternity speculation involving one of his childrens mothers. What began as a pregnancy announcement and celebration for Starr Dejanee quickly turned into an online debate, as many questioned whether the rapper had welcomed another child with her.
Starr Dejanee has kept a private life throughout 2025. She shocked the internet on November 20, revealing she was expecting a baby girl while sharing baby bump photos and an ultrasound. The ultrasound read, “Precious little one.” Her caption read, “I said NO & God said YES. Its a girl.” For context, Starr is the mother of NBA YoungBoys third son, Kamiri. Her newborn is her fourth child, as she has three sons. Speculation quickly made waves online as commenters questioned who the childs father was. Many immediately assumed it could be NBA YoungBoy.
On November 22, Starr shared a photo holding her babys hand, captioned, “11.02. 3 lbs. 6 oz. Li mama.” She also tweeted, “Li mama so tiny but yet so mighty,”while celebrating the birth of her premature baby. On December 17, Starr Dejanee officially shared photos from her babys photoshoot. She captioned the images, “Little Ms. Klever Unique.” The post increased speculation as others continued debating and questioning the childs paternity. One commenter wrote, “Oh, the K told me everything,” seemingly referencing NBA YoungBoys real name, Kentrell. Another commenter congratulated them, writing, “Congratulations Starr and @GGYOUNGBOY, shes so beautiful.”
Seemingly tired of the paternity speculation, Starr tweeted, “Why is this debate still going on? Klever is my child. Who cares about all that extra?”
Many folks gathered under The Shade Room Teens to debate whether they believe NBA YoungBoy is the father. Some felt it was possible the rapper had a baby with Starr, noting he has done this before with his first childs mother.Others said the speculation is unnecessary and urged everyone to focus on prayers for the premature baby.
