NeNe Leakes Says During “RHOA” Reunion She Refused To Answer Questions About Wendy Williams—“It Had Nothing To Do With The Show”

Roommates, the latest season of the Bravo hit reality series, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has finally come to an end—but the virtual reunion hasn’t even aired yet and it’s already producing tons of behind-the-scenes drama. “RHOA” OG NeNe Leakes recently revealed that she didn’t appreciate being asked several questions about her relationship with Wendy Williams during the reunion because it had nothing to do with the show.

NeNe Leakes has been getting fans ready for weeks for the very first virtual reunion in “Housewives” history due to the current coronavirus outbreak. Well, if things behind-the-scenes are anything like she described, we are in for a lot of drama and tons of tea to be spilled.

NeNe shot the reunion only a few days ago and she quickly went to her YouTube channel to discuss what she feels was unfair treatment that singled her out as a target. One of the reasons she felt this way is because she says she was repeatedly asked about her relationship with Wendy Williams—and NeNe didn’t feel that discussing it was relevant because it didn’t occur on the show.

In her video, NeNe said this:

“I was asked questions about me and Wendy Williams’ relationship, I really feel like that has nothing to do with the show at all. Wendy and I had a bit of a disagreement recently, she spoke out on her show, she called me “that girl over there” and so, they asked me about the situation. I was asked a question about it and one of the questions came from one of the girls, “why didn’t you speak out publicly about that?”

She later added, “I don’t feel like I need to talk about our relationship publicly because I talked to her privately. So, I don’t know why I need to sit here on that show the “Housewives” about why I didn’t go public with me and Wendy’s relationship. That has nothing to do with the show.”

As of right now, no premiere date has been announced for the “RHOA” reunion or how many parts are expected—however, it will likely occur within the next few weeks.
