It looks like fans of the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton,” could look forward to way more episodes in the near future as Netflix has renewed the show for a third and fourth season.
The news was announced early Tuesday in a note that was written by Lady Whistledown herself. In the announcement, she stated, “It seems we have a rather special announcement. Bridgerton shall return for seasons three and four. This author shall have to purchase more ink.”

The news of the show’s renewal for two additional seasons comes after it was recently announced that, Regé-Jean Page will not be returning for the show’s second season, which already has production underway.
According to Deadline, Shonda Rhames, said, “From the first time I read Julia Quinn’s delicious Bridgerton series, I knew these were stories that would captivate a viewing audience. But the evolution of this adaptation would not be a success without the many significant contributions of the entire Shondaland team. This two-season pickup is a strong vote of confidence in our work and I feel incredibly grateful to have partners as collaborative and creative as Netflix. Betsy and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue bringing the world of Bridgerton to a worldwide audience.”
As mentioned before, the show’s second season will focus on “the pursuit of a suitable marriage for the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony.”
The series follows the novels written by Julia Quinn.
Roommates, are you looking forward to seasons two, three, and four of “Bridgerton?”
