New Jersey Authorities Investigate After Man’s Body Is Reportedly Discovered On Conveyor Belt At Recycling Plant

New Jersey authorities are investigating after the body of 35-year-old Nicholas Brian Holsten was found on a conveyor belt at a recycling plant.

More Details On The Discovery Of Nicholas Brian Holsten’s Body At The Recycling Plant

According to NJ.com, employees were “sorting materials” at the Republic Services Recycling facility on September 4. Around 2:40 p.m., they reportedly discovered Holsten’s body “on a conveyor belt.”

Holsten’s identity was recently made public, and the outlet notes that he reportedly resided in Leesburg, New Jersey. Additionally, the 35-year-old’s obituary has been made public by DeMarco Funeral Home.

“Nick was known for his adventurous spirit and his sense of humor that always had everyone laughing,” the obituary reads. “He will be remembered for his silly personality, outrageous jokes, and his true love for drawing. Nick enjoyed making special drawings for those he loved. Nick loved music, he often would be wearing earbuds and listening to his favorite songs. As a young child, Nick would be skateboarding and held onto that passion throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of creativity, joy, and smiles.”

Additionally, the funeral home notes that Holsten was the father of a son named Caenaan.

More Details On The New Jersey Authorities’ Investigation

According to PEOPLE, New Jersey authorities have confirmed that Holsten was not an employee at the recycling facility. Additionally, authorities reportedly noted that their investigation into the 35-year-old’s death remains ongoing.

Furthermore, the outlet notes that cops have not ruled out foul play.

“…no additional information is available at this time,” authorities reportedly asserted.

Holsten’s mother, Melanie, shared a brief statement about her son and his death with Asbury Park Press.

“He was a very caring and loving person. He was an artist,” she said. “I’ll never know what really happened.”

A Man’s Body Was Recently Found In A Freezer At A Grocery Store

As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, a man’s body was found inside a freezer at a Food Lion store in North Carolina. Additionally, initial reports asserted that the man worked at the location, and his body was found by his co-workers.

Furthermore, at the time, authorities did not publicly release the man’s identity. However, they did share insight into his cause of death, briefly asserting that he experienced a medical emergency.
