Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell‘s son Golden Sagon is celebrating a major milestone at just seven years old.
Over the weekend, Bell took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos of her and Cannon’s three children. The first photo featured Golden and his sister Powerful as they posed in what appeared to be their school uniforms.
In the flick, the children held up chalkboards that displayed various facts about them. Powerful’s chalkboard revealed that she had begun pre-kindergarten and shared her favorite food, color, etc. Meanwhile, Golden’s chalkboard astonishingly revealed that the 7-year-old had begun fourth grade. For context, most children that age are usually in first or second grade, per Greenlight card.
In the caption of her post, Bell expressed her excitement for her children and briefly discussed Golden’s accomplishment.
“Back to school for all of us!! My bright babies!!… Golden is 7 in 4th grade (yes hes advanced and yes his emotional intelligence matches his cognitive intellect) and our Pretty Pow is already in Pre-K big kids class!” she wrote. “Weee so proud!! last year Golden ran for and was elected as his class representative and Miss Pow is quite popular :-) so they are doing well- cant wait for this year and what they will do!”

To note, Golden Sagon’s apparent genius is no surprise to Bell and Cannon. According to Page Six, Golden started second grade in August 2022 at the age of 5.
At the time, Cannon gushed about Golden’s accomplishment via Instagram while explaining why he couldn’t take the credit for his son’s smarts.
“Yesterday was the first day of 2ND GRADE for MR. GOLDEN CANNON!! (And hes only 5 years old!!!) Congratulations Champ!!” he wrote, at the time. “I cant take none of the credit though! He gets his genius from his Mamma! @missbbell ”
Social media users reacted to Golden’s major milestone in The Shade Room’s comment section.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Nick Cannon recently made headlines when he shed some light on the relationship between his six children’s mothers. In addition to his three children with Bell, Cannon shares three kids with Abby De La Rosa, two kids with Mariah Carey, one child with Bre Tiesi, two children with Alyssa Scott, and one child with LaNisha Cole.
Earlier this month, while speaking with E! News, Cannon revealed that all of the women “get along amazing.”
“But its like everybody lives their own life, before me and after me,” he explained. So I think thats how you keep the peace and everybody moving So I think that’s how you keep the peace and everybody moving, like everybody worried about themselves and not worried about… someone else.”
