The debates on the influence among female rappers are never ending. Earlier today Nicki Minaj went on a mild rant about her success as a female rapper, her come up, and the homage she paid to those who paved the way for her. She came ready with receipts too!
Nicki started off with the post below where she speaks on up and coming rappers “pretending” not to be influenced by those who came before them. She shouted out some current female rappers who have always shown her love including Trina, Kashdoll, Saweetie, Young MA and Meg Thee Stallion to name a few.
She then responded to some fans who came for her in alleging that she didn’t show Lil Kim love during her come up.
Nicki didn’t stop there though, she went on to pull some receipts of old interviews to prove her points even more.
