Whew, Roommates! The internet is going OFF after Nicki Minaj praised President Donald Trump during an interview with Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk’s late wife, Erika Kirk.
Recently, Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at AmericaFest 2025, where she sat down for an exclusive interview with Turning Point USA and the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk. During the chat, she praised Donald Trump for staying strong and persevering.
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president.” Nicki continued, “I don’t know if he even knows this but he’s given so many people hope that there’s a chance to beat the bad guys, and to win and to do it with your head held high and your integrity intact.”
Nicki didn’t stop there, she also took a moment to mention Vice President JD Vance. Even though she didn’t say much, she still threw a lil’ shade his way and called him an assassin. “And you have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our Vice President.” She then had the crowd reacting when she tried to finish her statement but paused, looking visibly disgusted.As of right now there’s no reason why Nicki made her comments about Vance but her energy towards him was definitely amongst the crowd.
After The Shade Room reposted the Nicki clips, TSR’s comment section went UP. Several folks were in complete shock over her statements, while others believe she had to have reason for backing Donald Trump.

Minaj’s support for Trump isn’t new. She recently agreed with him after he spoke about considering military action in Nigeria over the alleged “mass slaughter” of Christians by “Islamist insurgents.” Nicki hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to thank him for taking the matter seriously.No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion, like I recently stated on social media.
