It looks like congrats are in order to Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty.
TMZ reports that sources have revealed that Nicki gave birth to her and Kenneths first child on Wednesday in Los Angeles. At the moment that babys name and sex have not been revealed just yet.
Nicki first announced that she and Kenneth were expecting back in July. She released a few photos from her maternity shoot as she showed off her adorable baby bump. She thanked her fans for the well wishes after revealing that she was expecting and said, “Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”
Last year we talked with Nicki in an exclusive interview and she talked to us about her love for Kenneth Petty. She said, “With him, were more best friends, first and foremost. If he asks something of me or vice versa. Its not like a demand, its like I want to do it because I respect and love you so much, and I want to do it because of the way you respect me, thats kind of how our relationship is. Its like we laugh, joke, talk like friends, were around each other non-stop, so we feel very much like family, but its just like this respect that I have for him. He does things in such a dope way, that makes me more attracted to him.
Nicki and Kenneth officially tied the knot shortly after.
Nicki’s mom, Carol Maraj, also expressed her excitement for Nicki’s nuptials and talked about how she was ready for Nicki to give her some grandchildren.
While at an event, she said, “Im very happy that she got married. Her biological clock is ticking and its about time she got married and gave me some grandchildren. So Im very happy.”
Congrats again to Nicki & Kenneth on their bundle of their joy!
