Prayers Up! Nicole Murphy Reflects On The Recent Passing Of Her Partner Warren Braithwaite

After her 13-year marriage to Eddie Murphy ended, Nicole Murphy seemingly found love again! The 56-year-old was most recently dating her partner Warren Braithwaite. However, on Sunday, Murphy revealed that Warren had passed away.

“I miss you so much my love,” Nicole wrote in her Instagram Story. “May you rest in peace my sweet. It’s so hard not hearing your voice or seeing your face. You were my world & my everything.”

What We Know About Nicole Murphy’s Relationship With WarrenBraithwaite

According to Entertainment Tonight and VIBE, Nicole and WarrenBraithwaite have been publicly linked since July 2023. A few months later, in September, Warren was Nicole’s plus-one to her son Myles Murphy’s wedding.

In the months since, Nicole Murphy has shared peeps at their bond on her social media accounts. On January 5, she shared a video of her and Warren getting down in the club with the sexy dance moves!

Meanwhile, on Dec. 10, she shared a carousel of photos with her late bae. In the photos, Nicole clung to Warren as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Her caption reads, “We both are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other my love.”

Essence first reported Warren’s passing on March 5. In their report, they cited one of Warren’s loved ones.

“Lost a good friend, a brother, a childhood friend today,” a loved one of Braithwaites wrote on Instagram, per Essence. “We gonna celebrate ur life way over the top cause thats who u where!!! Rest easy!! aka trees aka 50grand aka wild oats love u bro fk cancer!!!!! @nikimurphy stay strong sis.”

At this time, there are no additional details about how Warren passed or what kind of cancer he was allegedly battling.
