Details continue to surface in the ongoing investigation into the shooting outside of a Florida casino involving Offset. The FBI has reportedly released footage from the incident, depicting a failed robbery that led to a leg injury.
According to authorities, the suspects dipped off in two SUVsa matte gray Chevrolet Tahoe and a black Chevrolet Suburbanheading in different directions after everything went down.
“The subjects fled the scene in two Chevrolet SUVs, one was a matte gray Tahoe and the other a black Suburban, revealed FBI Miami Public Information Officer Jim Marshall. “The black Suburban fled the area towards Hollywood, Florida, while the Tahoe fled southbound towards Miami.”
Right after the incident, police detained two people, including rapper Lil Tjay. He was later hit with disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license. But his lawyer made it clear he wasnt carrying a weapon and wasnt charged in connection with the shooting. He has since been released on bond, but the questions are still there. In response to claims tied to the incident, Lil Tjay pushed back on accusations with strong words for the rapper, while Offset later appeared to respond on Instagram with the message, U aint buss nun.
As previously reported, the FBI is officially investigating a shooting involving Offset after authorities say he was ambushed outside a Florida casino. The incident reportedly went down on April 6 around 7:24 p.m. outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Police claim a large group approached the rapper before things turned violent. One suspect allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired a single shot, hitting Offset in the leg. Additionally, the group allegedly tried (and failed) to snatch his watch.
Offset hasn’t said much about the Florida casino shooting, though he did briefly acknowledge the situation on social media shortly after it happened.
