Offset Takes To Social Media To Question The Shortage Of Bread Due To Coronavirus Outbreak

Roommates, as the world continues to deal with the widespread fallout from the deadly coronavirus outbreak, even celebrities are feeling the impact of being quarantined. Offset recently took to social media to raise an important question regarding the current shortage of bread, as many take to grocery stores and resort to panic buying.

If you thought that being a wealthy celebrity meant that they won’t feel the impact that the coronavirus has taken all over the world, think again. Many would think that Offset wouldn’t have any trouble getting the basic necessities he needs to feed his family—however that proved to be untrue as he posted a very timely question on Twitter.

Offset simply tweeted, “Who got bread for sale????? Can’t find s**t.” What makes his declaration so interesting is that it comes right at the time when stores across the country have alarmingly empty shelves, as essentials like toilet paper, water, paper towels, milk and of course bread, are all being bought in droves and leaving many without things that they need.

As you’re likely aware, most of the country has imposed lockdowns, curfews and social distancing in an effort to curb the spread of the rapidly growing coronavirus. Earlier this month, the White House informed the country that these restrictions could last at least two weeks.

On the bright side, the first round of trial vaccine testing for the coronavirus recently started, as medical researchers race to find a trusted vaccine in the hopes of getting things back to normal sooner rather than later.
