On Monday, DJ Olivia Dope took to Instagram to share why she decided to leave the “See The Thing Is…” podcast and the Joe Budden Network.
In a video, Olivia alleged that Joe Budden constantly made “sexual suggestive remarks” toward her as he sat in and guest-starred on an episode of “See The Thing Is…” which is also hosted by Bridget Kelly and Mandii B.
In the video, Olivia said, “I am here today, still uncomfortable, but I find the bravery to speak out on a very embarrassing situation. On Jan. 18, 2021, Joe Budden sat in on a recording of the female-led podcast I was a part of and continuously made sexual, suggestive remarks to me that made me extremely uncomfortable as well as fearful of dampening the mood if I didn’t laugh along while he made those sexual remarks to me. Those moments not only live on the internet forever, it also forced me into the decision of quitting the podcast.”

She also made note of the episode she was speaking about in particular and said in her caption, “Episode 16 of “See The Thing Is…” was the final straw of 3 months on the JBN. It took a lot to get to this point to speak up, but the healing begins now.”

As many of you know, Joe Budden is dealing with the dismantling of his own podcast “The Joe Budden” podcast, where last week audio surfaced of him firing his now-former co-hosts Rory and Mal.
As we previously reported, over the weekend, Joe went live on Instagram to speak about the matter after both Rory and Mal told their side of things coming to an end.
