Omarion Talks About Brotherhood, Forgiving His B2K Group Members & More!

While growing up in the spotlight, we have witnessed many transitional periods in Omarion’s life and career. From the rise and fall of his group B2K to his solo career, his journey into fatherhood, and more. Over the past few years, we have watched as B2K has tried to rekindle what they once had, and also the different ways Omarion has dealt with maintaining his cool as some of the relationships he had has tested him publicly.

During his recent interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Omarion opened up about the fallout he had with his former group, learning to forgive, and even his feelings after finding out that the mother of his children had been in a relationship with one of his group members.

When asked how is it that B2K was able to go out on tour together when they didn’t see eye to eye even after growing up together as brothers, Omarion focused on the concept of brotherhood and said,

“Everybody has a different version of that, unfortunately. Some people actually don’t have siblings, it means different things to different people. I would say in one aspect through our journey we were put together to be brothers. I don’t think in essence we were. There were a lot of people that made sure that we connected and then disconnected.”

He added, “It’s like we were made to be brothers to be secret enemies.”

Nonetheless, despite all that has happened behind closed doors and publicly. Omarion shared that he has forgiven his fellow group members from B2K.

“I could forgive you, but at this point and time our relationship, it doesn’t serve where I need to be and the energy I must keep myself in, in order to keep my own peace he,” he said.

When it comes to Fizz’s past relationship with Apryl Jones, the mother of his children, Omarion said, “It really turned up my unbothered because I knew what he was doing was on purpose. It didn’t really prove anything because at the end of the day you have to recognize that people make their own choices, and most of the time it don’t even have nothing to do with you.”

As previously reported, last month, while appearing on “Drink Champs,” Fizz, J. Boog, and Raz B discussed the breakup of B2K and said it was due to the fact that Fizz had been intimate with a woman that Omarion had liked at the time.
