For me, that would be thee illustrious Texas Southern University and if you read this and giggled at the words thee and illustrious, then go ahead and add that to the list of things only people who went to an HBCU can relate to (issa inside joke).
Theres so much pride and value in historically Black colleges and even though there are about 100 HBCUs, were all like one big family. Though we may be in different states, a lot of our experiences are similar, and Im not talking about that beginning of the semester financial aid line.
Im talking about all the things that make our schools unique. Ask any HBCU grad and I can guarantee they wouldnt trade their experience for anything.
