Courtney Clenney accepted a plea deal after fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. The OnlyFans model was facing life in prison for stabbing Obumseli back in 2022.
Courtney Clenney accepted a plea deal after stabbing her boyfriend to death insidetheir condo in Miami, Florida.According to TMZ, prosecutors reached a deal with the accused killer. Her attorney, Frank Prieto, confirmed with the outlet.
The OnlyFans model was facing life in prison after being charged with second-degree murder. However, the details of the plea deal were not available. The Shade Room previously reported that Clenney fatally stabbed 27-year-old Obumseli on April 3, 2022. Neighbors called 911 after overhearing a domestic dispute between the couple.
Video footage captured the killer covered in blood as officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department investigated the scene. Furthermore, Clenney, who is white, admitted to stabbing Christian, who was Black, with a knife. Despite her admission and blood-soaked clothes, the now 30-year-old wasn’t arrested until four months after the murder. Clenney was in rehab in Hawaii when she was arrested, per the Miami Herald, and extradited to Florida.The accused killer’s lawyer later claimed self-defense.
Later, audio found on Christian’s phone from months before his death captured Clenney repeatedly calling Christian the n-word and threatening to assault him. In one audio clip, Clenney called Obumseli the n-word multiple times within minutes. She also screamed at him, “man up b*tch” and “shut up and let me slap you, dumb a*s!”
Christian’s cousin Jessica Nwabuko told The Shade Room that she spoke to his friends, and they revealed the nature of the couple’s relationship.
“I spoke to one of his friends and his friends were saying that they do have a history of domestic violence,” said Nwabuko. “But he never put his hands on her. Um he was never the starter of their arguments that she’s a very toxic person.”
She added, “You never really cherish those moments until the person is gone,” she added. “It breaks my heart that he didn’t even make it from a senseless murder.”
