For those who might be a little lost in the sauce—Stella’s designs are made with African material known as Ankara print.

I’m not gonna lie, as an African myself, I wasn’t sure how to feel about this one. I’m somewhere between oh… that’s umm.. cool I suppose… and GIIRRRLLLL YOU TRIIEEDDTTTTTT IT!

I mean, in my opinion, homegirl could’ve paid homage to the African culture by having African models represent the African pieces in the collection—but that’s none of my business.
