Authorities in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, are reportedly investigating after a fight occurred on Wednesday, October 30 at an early voting poll site.
WIS-TV footage shows an incident starting after poll workers at Orangeburg County Library asked a man to remove his “Let’s Go Brandon” hat. After being informed he couldn’t vote there with the attire, the man began cursing. Poll workers instructed him to take his hat “outside” and called up the next person in line. Moments later, the man throws his hat toward the next person in line.
The man then points his finger at the woman and yells.
You f*****g b***h, he tells one woman, as another poll worker tries to call him down. Shut the hell up and let me vote!
Poll workers step in to separate them, but he swings his arms to break free and pursues the woman who struck him.
One poll worker could be heard saying, “Take him outside!
The New York Post explains that South Carolina law prohibits voters from wearing items displaying political party names, candidate names, or ballot issues while at polling places.
Social media users flooded The Shade Room’s comment section with reactions to the fight at the Orangeburg County voting site.
