Pete Davidson Jokes About Kanye West At Netflix Is A Joke Festival

Since starting a romantic relationship with Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson has endured lots of public scrutiny, some of which came from Kim’s soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West. Despite the jabs Ye took at Pete on social media and in his music, the comedian hadn’t made any comments of his own until he recently took the stage at the Netflix Is a Joke Festival.

At the sold-out Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends show, Pete Davidson opened up about the “really weird year” he’s had since he and Kim started dating. More specifically, Pete joked about his experience with Kanye West.

Pete started his routine with a joke about AIDS in reference to a rumor Kanye allegedly spread about the comedian back in January.

“I’ve had a really weird year. I had an AIDS scare this year. Yeah, I did. And you’re like, ‘Pete, wow. What’s going on in your life? Are you sharing needles? Are you doing heroin? Are you having tons of unprotected sex?’ No. Kanye told me I had AIDS. And he’s a genius. So, I was like, ‘Oh f*ck.’ I was like ‘I better call my doctor. The guy who made College Dropout thinks I have AIDS.'”

He joked about visiting his doctor and being tested for the disease, saying Ye could’ve been right. Turns out, Pete is AIDS free.

So a doc told me I don’t have AIDS. I just look like I have it. So it’s a completely different thing.”

Pete and Kim made their relationship Instagram official in early March, and found themselves at the center of one of Kanye West’s Instagram rants a few days later. Ye shared a headline alleging Pete joked about “having sex with a baby” and declared the King Of Staten Island star would never be around his children. Since then, Pete has been spotted hanging with Kim and Kanye’s oldest child North West, and he joked about Kanye popping up at Kim’s house disguised as the new nanny.

Does anybody else secretly hope that like, Kanye pulls a Mrs. Doubtfire? Like, come home one day and they’re like, ‘This is the new housekeeper,’ and he’s like, ‘What’s up fam?'”

As we previously reported, Kanye also mentioned Pete in his song ‘Eazy,’ rapping “God saved me from that crash just so I could beat Pete Davidson’s a**.”

Ye has not publicly responded to the jokes.
