PHOTOS: Angela Simmons Gushes Over Yo Gotti Following Courtside Game: ‘Long As I’m Next To You’

Angela Simmons is glowing with happiness alongside recently confirmed bae Yo Gotti. At least that’s the expression paparazzi cameras captured courtside at Wednesday night’s Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers game in Memphis, Tennessee.

Angela shared one photo from the apparent date night to her verified Insta-account. In it, Gotti has his head turned towards her while she’s smiling and seemingly scrolling on her phone. She didn’t say what caused her grin but revealed how she feels about Gotti in the brief caption.

“Long as I’m next to you,” Simmons wrote, adding astroid and heart emoticons.

Meanwhile, Gotti shared another flick from the moment on his Instagram. However, his caption had a lil’ less tenderness to it

“Yea I f*k wit Ja but ion f*k with 12…welcome to my city,” Gotti wrote, adding a black heart emoticon.

Angela and Gotti made their romance public at the start of 2023 by releasing a series of photos and videos of them together. They were both dressed to impress in apparent New Year’s Eve wear. She wore a floor-length, black glittering gown while he put that velvet black suit on. Both had diamonds lighting up their necks and wrists.

At the time, Angela shared a loving cation writing, “you are all I need and more”–just as she did with their most recent set of baewatch photos. But, Gotti kept things ‘playa’ then too. One caption of their NYE link-up wished folks a Happy New Year, while the other caption said, “ain loss a crush since high school.”

Days after the romance reveal, Angela, again, took to Instagram to affirm she was “happier than [she’s] ever been.”

Twitter Debates Yo Gotti’s Appearance In Courtside Photos And ‘Lackluster’ Captions After Publicly Pursuing Simmons

Most of us are familiar with Yo Gotti’s public efforts to snag Angela, which span almost seven years. In February 2016, he made his ‘crush’ on Simmons known in the hit songDown in the DM.

He again tried his hand publicly in April 2020 when he commented, “I think u perfect” on a bikini photo she posted. Now, we don’t know much about what has gone ‘down in the DMs’ in private or what act released Gotti from the shackles of the friendship zone.

However, there were rumblings of a romance between them in the latter half of 2022. He celebrated her birthday with her in a club in September. In October, folks online speculated that Gotti and Angie were vacationing in Paris and Dubai after noting similar backgrounds in their social media posts. She joined his family at his mother’s birthday celebration in November.

That brings us to the courtside date, which has been trending on social media since the photos dropped.

Folks online seem to have strong opinions about Gotti’s seemingly ‘casual’ attitude towards Simmons in photos and captions, despite him doing the public chasing all these years. Meanwhile, others are expressing shock and excitement about their relationship.
