Its been a few months since the passing of iconic musician Prince. As we all continue to mourn his death, we also continue celebrate with all of the classic material he has left behind. With one of those classics being his 1984 film Purple Rain.
According to Vibe, anonymous buyers are now the owners of two pieces from the singers wardrobe from the film.
One of the pieces purchased through Profiles in History was the new-romantic style ivory shirt, with the asking price landing between $3,000-$5,000. The other piece that was purchased was Princes black and white motorcycle jacket. Both items were sold for $96,000 each.
Other pieces that have been sold and are up for auction include hisdiamond and pearlnecklacewith paisley clasp from the Diamonds & Pearls music video and hisover-the-knee black suede bootsfrom hisLoveSexy Tour.
