Pop Smoke’s Label Announces The Cover Art For His Album Will Be Changed

The fans have spoken, Roommates! After Virgil Abloh released his design for Pop Smoke’s posthumous album cover, many fans took to social media with some criticisms about the graphic. Well, it looks like Pop’s team heard everything y’all had to say because it has just been announced the cover art will be changed!

In an Instagram post, Pop’s manager, Steven Victor, says that his management and label want nothing more than to bring his vision to life. So, the label is ditching Virgil’s design for now.

“As Pop’s label and as his friends/family, it is our obligation to bring his vision to life. He wanted Virgil to lead creative, we fulfilled his wishes. However, unfortunately, he’s not here to give his final approval, his fans are,” he says. “You know why you love Pop. Your voices are loud and clear. He loved his fans and listened to his fans. Pop and we at Victor Victor head you loud and clear-changes will be made. See you July 3rd 2020.”

As we previously reported, 50 Cent took on the task of finishing Pop’s album after his unfortunate death. Do y’all plan on listening, Roomies?
