Porsche Claims Paul Walker Was Responsible For His Own Death

A while back we reported on Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche for her fathers untimely death.

Meadow claimed that the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT her father was the passenger in, lacked safety features that could have saved her dad’s life.

As expected, Porcshe has fired back at Meadow and of course they beg to differ. In court documents Porsche said  Paul was a  “knowledgable and sophisticated user of the 2005 Carrera GT. He knowingly and voluntarily assumed all risk, perils and danger in respect to the use of the subject 2005 Carrera GT.”

You already know Meadow’s attorney had to clap back at Porsche after their statements! Meadow’s attorney Jeff Miliam said “it’s beyond regrettable that Porsche is trying to deflect its own responsibility by blaming the victim-Paul Walker-for his own death by getting into the passenger seat of its Carrera GT.”

At the end of the day yes, Paul may have been knowledgable about the car, but he was not the one driving. If he was that would be a different story. Roommates what do you think? Should Porsche own up to the safety features?
