Prince Harry And Oprah Winfrey Team Up For A Documentary Series About Mental Health

It looks like Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey will be teaming up as they tackle the topic of mental health in a new documentary series for Apple.

According to USA Today, on Wednesday, Kensington Palace announced the project and said that Prince Harry and Oprah will serve as co-creators and executive producers on the untitled project.

Prince Harry said in a statement, “I truly believe that good mental health – mental fitness – is the key to powerful leadership, productive communities, and a purpose-driven self,” Harry said. “It is a huge responsibility to get this right as we bring you the facts, the science and the awareness of a subject that is so relevant during these times. Our hope is that this series will be positive, enlightening and inclusive – sharing global stories of unparalleled human spirit fighting back from the darkest places, and the opportunity for us to understand ourselves and those around us better.”

Last month, Oprah made a trip to Apple’s headquarters where she revealed that she and Harry talked about purpose and storytelling and how Apple will provide  “a unique opportunity to rise to our best selves in how we use, and choose to use, both our technology and our humanity.”

According to CNN, back in 2017, Harry launched his “Heads Together” campaign along with his brother Prince William. The campaign “leads a coalition of mental health charities in order to provide support for people affected by mental illness, along with raising awareness and tackling stigma.”

Roommates, will you be tuned in to Prince Harry and Oprah’s new series?
