Recently the doors to Prince’s Paisley Park were opened to fans as it was granted a temporary museum permit.
Until it’s determined whether or not the estate will be a full-time museum a few fans that purchased tickets on selected dates were able to tour the property.
According to Billboard, once fans arrived to the venue they were surprised to see Prince’s remains being kept inside of the studio on display. His remains are being held within a customized urn, which was designed by his sister and nephew.
They partnered with a company called Foreverence to create the urn. In the company’s press release they said, “Tyka Nelson hand‐selected seven iridescent crystals, representing the artist’s favorite number, to be part of the urn design and placed the final jewel in the piece herself.”
Photos of the urn is of course prohibited.
If Paisley Park does become a full-time museum, then fans will still have their chance to pay their respects to the legendary singer.
