Reunited and it feels so good! Quavo reunited with Offset at the listening party for his upcoming solo album, ‘Qromelife’ on Saturday, September 26, in Los Angeles. Not only that, but Offset is reportedly featured on the album.
Ouavo’s solo album ‘Qromelife‘ drops on Friday, October 2, and Offset was in attendance at the listening party on Saturday night, according to TMZ. In addition to reuniting at the listening party, the duo also reunited for the track ‘Away‘ on the solo album.
Offset and Quavo, along with Quavo’s nephew, the late Takeoff, rose to fame with their rap group Migos. Offset split from the group in 2022, while Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, and Quavo formed the group Unc & Phew. Takeoff was tragically shot and killed on November 1, 2022, and Quavo and Offset honored him at the 2023 BET Awards. However, they reportedly argued at the awards show, to fans’ dismay.
However, Quavo and Offset looked back on track on Saturday night as they listened to the album while standing (and dancing) side by side. A video of the moment circulated on social media, and Quavo also spoke on the project recently. The album was produced by Pharrell Williams. Also, it features Yung Miami, Justin Timberlake, Lil Baby, Tyler, The Creator, Future, T.I., and A.$.A.P Rocky.
“We made this project together last year at a time when I was still dealing with grief and needed to create and express myself,” said Quavo, per Power 101.5. “Qrmelife is about the journey of me going through tough times in life and getting to the other side through my faith, family and my love for music. We keep pushing forward, we keep shining, we become Qrome.. I appreciate my big brother Pharrell for guiding me and pushing me creatively at a time when I needed it. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project. We Pushn QRME!“
Fans were excited to see the Migos’ artists together again and reacted on TSR’s Instagram page. Several Roomies shared their enthusiasm in the comment section while others remembered Takeoff.
User @victoriafromgeorgia wrote, “Definitely love to see this .”
About a week ago, Quavo revealed during an Interview with The Baller Alert that he is also working on Migos’ final album with Offset. He also spoke on the group’s legacy, as well as the musicians’ individual projects before confirming the album. Migos last album was ‘Culture III.‘
“We coming back with a Migos album,” he said. “Get ready for that…. The anniversary for Migos isYou’ll have it out anniversary is January, so, you may get somethin’ then.”
The late Takeoff recently went viral after folks began recreating AI visuals for his track with Quavo, ‘HOTEL LOBBY.’ Folks replaced the rappers with themselves or other famous faces in the video, and Ouavo shared the original video on Instagram on Wednesday, September 23, with the caption:
“The original!!! #HOTELLOBBY.”
