These past few months have been a month full of commitment for 25-year-old Toosii. From proposing to his longtime girlfriend and now fiance, Samaria J Davis, to being on tour with NBA YoungBoy, hes been showing hes fully locked in. Hes doing all this while switching lanes from the rap scene and applying pressure on the football field. It looks like Toosii has made another big decision in his career.
Since Toosii received a football offer from Sacramento State back in September, he has taken many of his supporters on his football journey. Weve seen countless footage of him putting in work in the gym or him killing his football drills. In a video he shared from one of his workouts, the caption read, Im thankful for a shot at life. Lord, as long as you bless me with the gift of life may I follow the path you have laid out for me. They told me two things wasnt possible but I know a man who handles ALL things. #TRUSTTHEPROCESS. Toosii started off the month with a big surprise for his fans. Dressed out in bright orange gear, he revealed that he has officially committed to Syracuse University. The announcement came with a full photoshoot of him holding a football, posing in his Syracuse uniform, and even standing beside Syracuse head coach Fran Brown.
In his caption, Toosii wrote, COMMITTED. For every kid who ever had a dream, make it reality. Gods will is the way and no one can stop it, not even the devil. I wanna thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to chase what I believed in when so many people told me I couldnt. Thank you to the people who supported me as well; it never goes unnoticed. To be born in Syracuse and move to North Carolina at age 12 and havent been back since when Coach Fran called, I knew it was a sign from God. Many gathered across platforms to congratulate the rapper on his next big chapter as a college football player. While some questioned if he had the skills for this position, many were simply excited to see him living his dream. Additionally, they cant wait to watch him hit the Syracuse field.
