On Tuesday, November 12, Ray J took to his Instagram Story to share a video with his more than 2.8 million followers. Additionally, the clip Ray uploaded was black-and-white and showed him speaking emphatically to the camera.
“N****s just tried to shoot me! They tried to kill me, n***a! And you want me to apologize, n***a? F**k you!” Ray shouted.
To note, in the clip, Ray did not specify who his statement was referring to or who allegedly tried to shoot at him.
To note, prior to posting the video on his Instagram Story, Ray had seemingly taken to social media to share some words for Pastor Jamal Bryant. In the clip, Ray seemingly alleged the pastor would get thrown off the pulpit if he aired an interview they recently sat down for.

As noted, many users appeared to believe the alleged attempt on Ray’s life could be due to his recent endorsement of Donald Trump in the presidential election.

The current circumstances of the alleged attempt on Ray J’s life remain unclear. However, the singer recently made headlines after the details of a separate recent altercation were revealed. As The Shade Room previously reported, last month, TMZ reported that Diddy’s sons, Justin Combs, Christian Combs, and Quincy Brown, approached Ray outside of a Halloween party.
During the altercation, things allegedly became heated, and Chris Brown reportedly stepped in to de-escalate the situation.
