Reese’s Announces New Peanut Butter Cup Without Any Chocolate

#Roommates, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are arguably one of the most popular candy treats of all-time, but the company just made a major announcement that will change the product that fans have come to love. Reese’s recently confirmed the launch of its fan-favorite Peanut Butter Cup in a brand new version…without any chocolate at all.

@CNN reports, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are known around the world for the sweet and satisfying combination of peanut butter and chocolate—but if you’re more of a peanut butter lover, Reese’s has answered your prayers. The company just announced the April launch of the Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Lovers Cup—which is comprised entirely of peanut butter, both inside and out.

The change to the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup is the first in the 90-year-history of the company. Although there were previous versions of the Peanut Butter Lovers Cup back in 2019 and 2020, both of those versions still contained a certain amount of chocolate.

Reese’s Brand Manager Margo Mcllvaine spoke about the all-peanut butter version of the popular candy. “While launching a Reese’s Cup with absolutely no chocolate might come as a shock, we’re giving the truest peanut butter fans something to go wild about,” she said.

Reese’s confirmed that the initial announcement of the Peanut Butter Lovers Cup was set up to coincide with National Peanut Butter Day that was on March 1st. However, the product will officially be available for fans to try in April for a limited time in the general standard, king and miniature sizes.
