Rich Homie Quan Reaches Settlement $2 Million Lawsuit With T.I.G.

The wait is over! Rich Homie Quan and his record label T.I.G. (Think It’s A Game) have reached a settlement in RHQ’s $2 million lawsuit. The rapper’s manager said, “I feel relieved and I am glad that it came to an end. I never worried about us settling, because I knew my faith and trust in God would see us through.”

Complex reports that Rich Homie Quan had carried out the lawsuit last year claiming he was underpaid for his hit songs like “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Type of Way.” The label in turn counter-sued him, alleging the rapper “had not fully reported all of his earnings to them from “unauthorized” song releases.” Regardless, it’s great that the two parties have come to a compromise which means more music is on the way!

His debut album had been tied up in the suit, but in a press release, RHQ says, “I feel like LeBron James, I’m ready and looking forward to ending 2016 with a bang, my fans will not be disappointed.” T.I.G. CEO, Fly, spoke as if he’s ready to put the past behind them and start fresh. “I am going to keep it short and sweet. We are family! We started together and we are going to finish together. It’s been a long ride, but get ready for greatness.”

Who’s ready for more Rich Homie Quan? *raises hands*
