Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their kids, RZA and Riot Rose, recently attended her father, Ronald Fenty‘s, funeral in Barbados.
According to TMZ, Ronald Fenty’s funeral was held at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Barbados on Tuesday, July 8. Photographers captured Rihanna entering the service in a creme-colored gown, black sunglasses, and an updo. To note, Rih entered the service holding her and Rocky’s youngest son, Riot Rose. In addition, Rocky entered the service donning a gray blazer, khaki slacks, a white button-up, black sunglasses, and holding their oldest son, RZA.
Per Page Six, Fenty was subsequently laid to rest at Christ Church.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Fenty passed away on May 31 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Initially, it was reported that Fenty was battling an undisclosed illness. Then, in June, TMZ published a report asserting that Fenty’s cause of death was due to “cancer, pneumonia, and other serious illnesses.”
Furthermore, it was also reported that Fenty’s cause of death was ruled as “acute respiratory failure, pancreatic cancer… aspiration pneumonia, acute renal failure, and acute tubular necrosis.”
Before Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their kids, RZA and Riot, attended Ronald Fenty’s funeral, social media was sending prayers her way. As The Shade Room previously reported, last month, Rihanna and Rocky appeared at Paris Fashion Week for the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2026 show. Furthermore, footage captured Rih walking arm in arm with Rocky. Subsequently, social media users couldn’t help but send good energy her way, one noting that she appeared “tired and sad.”
