Rihanna Keeps It Low-Key During #StopAsianHate Rally In New York City

Roommates, Rihanna is known for being very active in causes she supports and that personally matter to her—which is why it was a welcomed surprise when she showed up in a major way to stand in solidarity with the Asian community. Wearing all black (including sunglasses and a mask) Rihanna showed up at the recent #StopAsianHate rally that took place in New York City.

Rihanna is one of the busiest celebrities around, as she juggles multiple successful businesses and finally putting the finishing touches (hopefully) on her long-awaited album. However, she still took the time out to show her support for the Asian community that has been at the center of various attacks across the country.

Rihanna, along with her assistant who is Asian, attended the #StopAsianHate rally in New York City, complete with signs that read “Hate = Racism Against God” and “#StopAsianHate.” Riri marched in the streets and danced along to the chanting…right next to unsuspecting protestors who likely had no idea who she was.

In other Rihanna news, she recently revealed some surprising news regarding her music that fans have been waiting years for. When Hollywood Unlocked posted a poll asking who Rihanna should collaborate with on her next album to bring some heat, she hopped in the comments and said that her choice is none other than City Girls member Yung Miami.

“Careshaaaaaaaa,” Rihanna commented, and Yung Miami expressed that she would be here for it too! She reposted Riri’s comment showing her some love. “Savage summer 2021 let’s gooooooooo,” Caresha wrote.
