Detroit rapper Sada Baby has the internet going crazy after reports dropped about his arrest on Wednesday, April 9. But it’s not even his arrest that has folks talking it’s actually his mugshot that has the internet cuttin’ UP!
Sada Baby landed in legal trouble on April 8 after Michigan authorities hit him with drug possession charges, according to TMZ. The Sterling Heights Police Department booked him into Macomb County Jail under his real name, Casada Sorrell.
A Sterling Heights court issued a warrant to Sada last week connected to a Jan. 9 traffic stop, where he allegedly had less than 25 grams of narcotics. During that stop, officers found out the rapper allegedly had a 2023 warrant for driving without a valid license for three years. They searched his vehicle, found a suspicious substance, and sent it off for testing. Rolling Stone reports the results confirmed it was narcotics.
Chileeee, social media is way more locked in on Sada Baby’s mugshot than the actual arrest or the charge. The second his pic hit the net, it went viral! The ‘Whole Lotta Choppas’ spitter hit the camera with a wild facial expression that had folks thinking it’s giving guilty.

In addition to his recent arrest, Sada Baby pleaded guilty to failure to display a license last month and reportedly had to pay a $200 fine right away. The Detroit News states that his original charge was dismissed as part of a plea deal.
As for his arrest, details about his hearing haven’t surfaced yet, and no word has come out on whether he’ll get ail.
Chileeee, as if Sada’s mugshot wasn’t enough to get folks talking, the Detroit musician hopped on social media to let everyone know he was free by dropping a selfie on Instagram. In the funny first day out pic, Sada wilded out again, smiling with his eyes wide open. He captioned the photo, “I’m out, #AGAIN,” alongside a gorilla and red heart emoji.
