Sean Kingston To Start Professional Boxing League For Rappers, Soulja Boy Reportedly Considering Joining

Sean Kingston is trying to expand his portfolio beyond the music world and we ain’t mad at him! Sean is reportedly starting his own professional boxing league for rappers, according to The Blast.

He’s teaming up with Triple The Mogul, a famed hip-hop agent, to create the Professional Rapper Boxing League (PRBL) and they reportedly already have several rappers on board who are willing to fight once the league is established.

Word on the street is that even Soulja Boy is considering joining the league to show off them hands.

The PRBL was started after Sean began hosting boxing events at his Hollywood Hills mansion. If it sounds familiar, that’s where y’all seen #YKOsiris and #LilTjay throw hands.

They’ve gotten some buzz from those fights and even the attention of some wealthy investors, according to The Blast, who reports that various combat sports companies such as Top Rank and Zuffa LLC, which is The company that created the UFC with Dana White, are talking about backing the boxing league.

Sean and Triple have also invested their own funds to get this thing going.

Sean Kingston and Triple The Mogul have personally invested $10 million each and have raised nearly $50 million for PRBL in total so far.

They’re reportedly hoping to get things boxing matches up and running before the NBA season begins in July. The fights, however, will continue to be held at Sean’s home but they reportedly hope to expand the fights to boxing gyms and arenas.

As far as who’s on board, YK Osiris, Lil TJay and Trippie Redd have all verbally agreed to fight and Soulja Boy is reportedly considering the challenge.

YK Osiris has had a lot of moxy on social media, calling out Tory Lanez and Drake to fight him.

The fights will continue to be on Instagram Live for now but we’ll see how big this thing gets.
