Whew! It looks like there may be more to the story when it comes to Serayah and Joey Bada$$. After weeks of speculation surrounding the couples relationship, a recent run-in with TMZ has the internet raising a few eyebrows and wondering if theres been a change behind the scenes.
The actress and model was recently spotted out in West Hollywood, where she was asked directly about where things stand between her and the rapper. While she kept things relatively brief, her answers were enough to get folks talking. According to TMZ, Serayah was spotted Tuesday night at West Hollywood hotspot Craigs. She was seen getting out of a car and appearing to walk across the street toward the restaurant when reporters approached her. Serayah, who wore her curly hair down with an orange skirt and an olive-greenish top that showed some skin, politely greeted the reporters with a hi before responding, good, how are you? when asked how she was doing.
When the conversation turned to Joey, Serayah appeared to keep things positive, telling the reporters that she and the rapper were doing great. She also indicated that the two are hoping for the best. And when asked whether she and Joey still speak, Serayah responded, yes, we do speak. However, she did not answer when asked whether she had returned her engagement ring.
The brief interaction was enough to send social media into speculation mode, with some interpreting Serayahs comments as a possible sign that she and Joey had worked through their issues privately. But while her comments may have left the door open for interpretation, comments from her representative reportedly suggest that the situation isnt quite what some may have assumed.
