Travis Barker’s Ex-Wife Accuses Him & Kourtney Kardashian Of “Parental Alienation”

It’s fair to say that Shanna Moakler still isn’t seeing eye-to-eye with her ex-husband, Travis Barker, and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian.

The former model has now accused Barker and Kardashian of “parental alienation,” a term used to describe the process by which one parent manipulates their child to reject the other parent.

Shanna Moakler Accuses Travis And Kourtney Of Parental Alienation

She shared her thoughts on the matter in a recently filmed episode of the ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast. Her comments suggested a significant conflict within the family dynamics involving the couple’s two children, Landon and Alabama.

The 48-year-old explained that after she and Barker split, she sensed that the Blink-182 drummer constantly tried to come across as a “super dad” to their kids, mainly once he got with Kardashian.

Moakler’s accusation implies that Barker, in conjunction with the TV personality, has been undermining her relationship with her children.

“When Travis got with Kourtney, there was some parental alienation going on there, where Travis—even when we weren’t together—always wanted to be the ‘super dad,'” she explained. “‘I’m the best parent. I’m the this and that,’ and I’m like, ‘Bro, you win. You’re the winner here, you have all the money.'”

Moakler went further to express that she feels excluded from her children’s lives due to Barker’s alleged actions and that his wife had also played a significant role in the isolation process.

She believes that the kids ultimately got caught up in the limelight that came with being associated with a Kardashian. But the connection she shares with them has changed drastically because of the lavish lifestyle they share with their dad in contrast to the one they have when staying with their mom.

“I think there was a lot of glitter and fame, and they watched them on TV, now their dad’s dating one, and they’re gonna be on the show,” Moakler shared.

“I think they got caught up in that, which young kids would do. They’re buying them Prada and buying them gifts, they’re going to these events, and meeting Kanye [West] … and I can’t give them that. I don’t have that, I don’t have access to that, I don’t have the money to do that.”

Shanna Alleged Travis Cheated During Their Marriage

Elsewhere in the interview, she also touched on the numerous occasions where she felt she had been done “dirty” by her ex.

She shed light on Barker’s near-fatal plane crash in 2008. The incident on September 19 of that year occurred moments after the drummer and five others boarded a jet to California following a show in South Carolina.

The engine malfunctioned, causing the aircraft to overrun the runway and head straight into an embankment, resulting in a burst of flames. Four of the six people died, with Barker going on to spend 11 weeks in the hospital.

During one of Moakler’s visits, she set up a laptop for him to video chat with the kids, who hadn’t seen him in over a month.

But to her surprise, she came across his emails, where she noticed messages between him and “all the women” he’d been communicating with.

But that didn’t irritate her as much as the emails she found of comments Barker had left under TMZ articles about the mom of three.

“When you went to TMZ and wrote a comment … They’ll email you a link, and you have to click the link to approve the comment,” she added, per Complex. “And I saw all these comments in his email that he was posting about me on TMZ about what a s****y mother I was and what a terrible person I was.”

“I even read some of them, and I couldn’t f*****g believe he was the one behind some of those comments. I left the hospital, and I went home and cried in my mother’s arms for hours. It was terrible.”

Kardashian and Barker have yet to respond to Moakler’s latest accusations.
